The Mystery of the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil

Most people like to know the rest of the story when it comes to a mystery.  In Genesis there's a mystery about a forbidden tree.  Everything Elohiym created was very good at the end of day six of creation.  But then there is this tree that brings Death in the Garden of Eden.

1-4.  Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them.  And on the seventh day Elohiym ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made.  And Elohiym blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which Elohiym created and made. These are the generations of the heavens and of the earth when they were created, in the day that Yahuah Elohiym made the earth and the heavens,

The first piece of information we get is that the universe was finished.  Also the Host of the heaven and the Earth.  That is to say the beginnings of the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil was there in some form and was good.
Secondly, Elohiym ended his work any changes to the different kinds of plant and animals wasn't him unless it's a curse brought on by the choice of intelligent life.
The third point is that the time from the beginning including the rest of Elohiym was seven different sections.  This was the example for our work week.
Sanctification in of the seventh day is the fourth point made.
Generations of the heavens, is the fifth point made along with the generations of the earth.  From the book of Jubilees we know that the angels was made on day one.  Heylel BenSahar was a Cherub who was very near the Throne of Yahuah Elohiym.

5-8.  And every plant of the field before it was in the earth, and every herb of the field before it grew: for the Lord God had not caused it to rain upon the earth, and there was not a man to till the ground.  But there went up a mist from the earth, and watered the whole face of the ground.  And Yahuah Elohiym formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.  And Yahuah Elohiym planted a garden eastward in Eden; and there he put the man whom he had formed.

The generations of the Earth is plant life before it was in the earth.  Focusing on the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil, that forbidden tree was planted in the Garden.  But let us translate verse 5 using the translation of Genesis 1:3 for the word hayah.

And every plant of the field before it became (let there be) earth, and every herb of the field before it sprouted: for Yahuah Elohiym had not caused it to rain upon the earth, and there was not a man to till the ground.

At one point in time Earth had no plant life on it.  Everything was planted upon the Earth.  On one hand there's all these angels on hand and in the other hand there's all this work to be done.  The question is, who planted the forbidden tree?  If Yahuah Elohiym didn't plant it, who did?  The question is, why was Satan there disguised as a Serpent?

The big mystery is, with all these Angels around, not to mention other species of man, why did Yahuah Elohiym need to form Adam out of the dust of the ground to work the Garden of Eden Yahuah Elohiym planted.  I believe Adam was special in Yahuah Elohiym's thoughts.

9-15.  And out of the ground made Yahuah Elohiym to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight, and good for food; the Tree of Life also in the midst of the garden, and the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil.  And a river went out of Eden to water the garden; and from thence it was parted, and became into four heads.  The name of the first is Pison: that is it which compasseth the whole land of Havilah, where there is gold; And the gold of that land is good: there is bdellium and the onyx stone.  And the name of the second river is Gihon: the same is it that compasseth the whole land of Ethiopia.  And the name of the third river is Hiddekel: that is it which goeth toward the east of Assyria. And the fourth river is Euphrates.  And Yahuah Elohiym took the man, and put him into the Garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it.

Did you catch that in verse 9?  The Forbidden tree, the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil was good for food and pleasant to look at? The mystery continues.  It wasn't Satan that was responsible for the Tree being in the Garden.

This section goes on to describe the location of the Garden of Eden.  Here we have Assyria and Ethiopia mentioned.  Also we have the Euphrates River mentioned.  What is in between is Saudi Arabia.  It's interesting to know of the 8000 year old settlements and the 7000 year old monuments there.

16-17.  And Yahuah Elohiym commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden you may freely eat: But of the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil, you shall not eat of it: for in the day that you eat thereof you shall surely die.

We must remember that Adam was set apart from other species of the human kind.  What was good for one species is not good for another.  White-tailed deer, black bears, wood rats and muskrats dine on poison ivy.  Birds eat poison berries.   If a human are poison ivy berries it would lead to convulsions, blurred vision, bloody diarrhea, difficulty breathing, and cardiac arrest.

Genesis 3

4-7.  And the serpent said unto the woman, you shall not surely die:  For Elohiym does know that in the day you eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and you shall be as Elohiym, knowing good and evil.  And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat.  And the eyes of them both were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together, and made themselves aprons.

In Genesis 2:9 the Tree of the knowledge of good was written as if it was  pleasant to the sight, and good for food.  But the tree of life also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of knowledge of good and evil was more than just food pleasant to the eyes.

The wisdom or understanding offered by Satan is not the wisdom understanding of the Holy Spirit.  This act of becoming wise is nothing but head knowledge.

I quote, "Paul is saying that the Jews know about Elohiym, but it is in their heads. They even have passion for Him, but it is from their minds. It has not made its way to their hearts. Paul goes on to say that the Jews lack “heart knowledge” because they do not trust in the righteousness of Elohiym, but in their own righteousness."

The results of eating from the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil was their Heart knowledge died that  moment along with their bodies being submissive to Death.

Isaiah 29

13-15.  Wherefore ăḏōnāy said, Forasmuch as this people draw near me with their mouth, and with their lips do honor me, but have removed their heart far from me, and their fear toward me is taught by the precept of men: Therefore, behold, I will proceed to do a marvellous work among this people, even a marvellous work and a wonder: for the wisdom of their wise men shall perish, and the understanding of their prudent men shall be hid. Woe unto them that seek deep to hide their counsel from Yahuah, and their works are in the dark, and they say, who sees us and who knows us?

The Wisdom and Understanding mentioned here is the Wisdom and Understanding written about by Isaiah speaking about the Holy Spirit.  When religion is just head knowledge, wise people are cut off from being heard.  Those who really understand are pushed into obscurity.  Dark counselors  hide with the covering of head knowledge.  What happens is that the values of their victims are underestimated or reduced.  Then these victims are worse off than before.  These victims may self destruct.

Conclusion

Yahuah Elohiym is responsible for the creation of the formation of everything including the division of light and darkness, and the division of good and Evil.  There was two trees in the Garden of Eden.  One was the Tree of Life.  The other was the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil.  The question is, was this Tree of Death the results of a division from some earlier time in our universe when it wasn't divided?  And why was this serpent talking?  Was it eating the fruit of this Tree of Death?

What we do know is that the results from Eve then Adam eating from the Tree of Death has effected us today.  The knowledge of unrighteousness enters our minds.

But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come: For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of Elohiym, having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away!  2 Timothy 3:1-5

From the list found in 2 Timothy, people's minds turn to their desires.  Meanwhile the heart is unguarded and becomes ill.

Proverbs 4:23 – Above all else, guard your heart, for it is the wellspring of life.

Proverbs 14:30 – A heart at peace gives life to the body, but envy rots the bones.

Proverbs 15:13 – A happy heart makes the face cheerful, but heartache crushes the spirit.

For an example, Eve possibly became haughty after eating off of the Tree of Death because she was deceived by the thought that she was going to be like a masculine creator.  Adam submitted to her knowing what he was doing was wrong.  Adam became disobedient to his Father in Heaven, loosing self-control.  This is seen in his son Cain.  Satanic influence on Adam's DNA made Cain a son of Satan.  Today's struggle is the same.  Loosing self-control makes people's minds drunk, making them heartless.  The personal goodness of a person is mixed with evil.  Unruly people encounter other people with a crushed spirit.  Having no compassion in them, their heartless actions snuffs out the last remaining hope of the suffering spirit.

Now may our Adonai Yahusha Hamashia Himself, and our Elohiym and Father, who has loved us and given us everlasting consolation and good hope by grace, comfort your hearts and establish you in every good word and work.  2 Thessalonians 2:16-17
