Once again, much of the book of Mary Magdalene does not exist.
I quote, "The main controversy surrounding the Gospel of Mary Magdalene it's authenticity and it's portrayal of Mary Magdalene as a figure with unique spiritual understanding and leadership role within early Christianity, contrasting with traditional interpretations. This challenges the established narrative of her as a repentant sinner and questions the authority of figures like Peter in the early church."
In other words the established church wants Mary Magdalene to be a rich prostitute that is only good for her money and to jump when any man tells her to jump. Also the established church builds up Peter because they called him the first Pope.
But do not be called Rabbi; for One is your Teacher, and you are all brothers. And do not call anyone on earth your father; for One is your Father, He who is in heaven. Do not be called instructors; for One is your Instructor, that is, Christ. But the greatest among you shall be your servant. And whoever exalts himself shall be humbled; and whoever humbles himself shall be exalted. Matthew 23:9-12
In other words, Peter is not a Pope, he is a brother. Mary Magdalene is not a servant with lots of money who needs a man to embezzle it from her. She is equal to the disciples. As for as who wrote the book of Mary Magdalene, the early government established church tried to destroy the book.
10-12) And desire said, I did not see you descending, but now I see you ascending. Why do you lie since you belong to me? The soul answered and said, I saw you. You did not see me nor recognize me. I served you as a garment and you did not know me. When it said this, it (the soul) went away rejoicing greatly.
It's interesting how this speaks as if desire has a voice. Most people let desire guide them when desire can be manipulated. Most people let their soul be manipulated by desire. But it was the soul that became the servant but was the leader. Desire of the flesh died when the flesh died. The soul. Is then in Heaven with Yahusha Hamashia.
13-17) Again it came to the third power, which is called ignorance. The power questioned the soul, saying, Where are you going? In wickedness are you bound. But you are bound; do not judge! And the soul said, Why do you judge me, although I have not judged? I was bound, though I have not bound. I was not recognized. But I have recognized that the all is being dissolved, both the earthly things and the heavenly.
Ignorance is used as a weapon against us. The Bible says that the Truth shall set you Free. If you are told by Yahusha that the Truth sets you Free, you should know that Ignorance keeps you in prisoner. If you are ignorant in the church, in your ignorance, you think you need a father. The sad thing is that in ignorance, we are not allowed to use discernment. We need clarity and insight in achieving a relationship with Yahusha Hamashia.
18) When the soul had overcome the third power, it went upwards and saw the fourth power, which took seven forms. The first form is darkness, the second desire, the third ignorance, the fourth is the excitement of death, the fifth is the kingdom of the flesh, the sixth is the foolish wisdom of flesh, the seventh is the wrathful wisdom. These are the seven powers of wrath.
The question is, was it these seven things Mary Magdalene was set free from? If so, why would she not know these things and write them down?
1. Darkness
2. Desire
3. Ignorance
4. Excitement of Death
5. Kingdom of the flesh
6. Foolish Wisdom
7. Power of Wrath
20-24) They asked the soul, Whence do you come slayer of men, or where are you going, conqueror of space? The soul answered and said, What binds me has been slain, and what turns me about has been overcome, and my desire has been ended, and ignorance has died. In a aeon I was released from a world, and in a Type from a type, and from the fetter of oblivion which is transient. From this time on will I attain to the rest of the time, of the season, of the aeon, in silence.
We must ask, did Mary Magdalene overcome Darkness, desire and ignorance according the Bible? The answers are, yes, yes and yes. If she had not overcome them, she would have kept her wealth to herself. Did she flirt with death? No. Did she sleep with the disciples? No. Was she ever corrected or commanded get behind me Satan? Ohh that's right, that was the first Pope that Yahusha rebuked and referred to as Satan. Did Mary Magdalene ever voiced her opinion loudly like Thunder? That was James and John. Where is the evidence that Mary Magdalene was an ignorant prostitute? Mary Magdalene probably liked her cave and the silence it provided.
