A Tree and Its Fruit
“Beware of the false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly are ravenous wolves. You will know them by their fruits. In Revelation we see the False Prophet who will direct spiritual and cultural worship toward the Antichrist. Today there are false prophets who do the same and are not recognized by many. Just by looking at them you will only see good people who attend church. There are good people who don't attend church because they have been figuratively been attacked by the wolf. Wolves hunt in packs.
I quote, "When wolves go for the kill, they rely on a coordinated, highly strategic pack effort. The hunt generally transitions from tracking and chasing to isolating a vulnerable target, wearing it down, and finally bringing it to the ground."
In the end after the wolf attack spiritually, you hide by my leaving the wolf pack's turf, or be a submissive omega wolf. They act as peacekeepers and babysitters to maintain social harmony. Their role is being peace-makers. The question is, what do we do if we find ourselves in a church controlled by wolves?
Are grapes gathered from thorn bushes or figs from thistles? Even so, every good tree bears good fruit, but the bad tree bears bad fruit. A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a bad tree bear good fruit. Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. So then, you will know them by their fruits.
To state the obvious, grapevines don't have thorns. Why look for grapes if you see a thorn? Thistles have spikes. Figs are related to the mulberry tree. There is nothing there that will wound you. Having a fig tree inside my house, it's fruit is eazy to pick when ready to eat. There is nothing to peal or cast away. Just pick and enjoy it's sweetness. Chinese Elm trees in my opinion should be cut down and burned. They reproduce to efficiently. The wood is not much good for anything. Once we used a Chinese Elm for a post in the lake holding up a dock. It started growing leaves. People in church are much the same way. There are the precious people who are eazy to be with. Their words are like sweet fresh figs straight off the tree. Then there are the other people. Their words will rip you apart.
“Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father who is in heaven will enter.
This is an interesting verse. By saying Lord Lord, they are sucking up to being like God if they don't do Yahuah Elohiym's will. If you are trying to do Yahuah Elohiym's will, you will call out to Him repeatedly for help or mercy.
Many will say to Me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, in Your name did we not prophesy, and in Your name cast out demons, and in Your name do many miracles?
These people who are in the church and probably have good standing in the church will be shocked to find out they have been rejected by Yahusha Hamashia called Jesus Christ. He knows of what they have done but that doesn't make the grade if they don't have a relationship with Him. You can know of the Bible but that doesn't give you a relationship with Yahusha Hamashia. If you do have a good relationship with Yahusha Hamashia, you will know His voice.
And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness.’
This is a huge statement. It's also a prophecy that there will be people who will be lawless and not recognize it within themselves.
First we must identify what Yahusha is saying when He said I never knew you. Truly Yahusha knows what good they have done. But it's not being good that saves you. Doing more good so it outweighs the bad doesn't work. What Yahusha is saying is that He is looking for the intimacy a relationship brings.
I quote, "intimacy is a state of close interpersonal connection. It is trust characterized by mutual vulnerability and deep emotional familiarity. It often relies on "self-disclosure"—the act of sharing your innermost thoughts and feelings. It is built over time through reciprocal empathy and acceptance."
In other words, being legalistic is lawlessness. Lawlessness is the wolf and being legalistic is the sheep's clothing.
Many times the believer in Yahusha will think they are not worthy of Yahusha Hamashia's love. Who is to say to Yahuah Elohiym who Yahusha can love and not love? It is the thief that will use deception to take the fuel that lights up your light Yahusha Hamashia is looking for.
