1. And in that day seven women shall take hold of one man, saying, We will eat our own bread, and wear our own apparel: only let us be called by your name, to take away our reproach.
What is interesting is that people think this is at a human level. But the truth is revealed in the next verse. The one man is the Branch of Yahuah. These seven women are seven assemblies of the Branch of Yahuah.
Our own bread is revealed in Yahusha's prayer. Give us this day our daily bread.
An early Greek translation, translated to English online says, "and seven women of one man are taken, saying, Let us eat our bread, and let us wear our clothes, but by the name I call upon you, forgive us our shame."
Reproach comes in two different ways. It is our failures and it comes from others looking down on us for our beliefs. But it's this man who is the Branch of Yahuah that can take away sin. His name is Yahusha Hamashia. Also called Jesus.
2. In that day shall the Branch of Yahuah be beautiful and glorious, and the fruit of the earth shall be excellent and comely for them that are escaped of Israel.
This verse has a time stamp upon it. Yahusha Hamashia will be honored beautifully in Jerusalem. That hasn't happened yet. Escaped is really saying delivered as in salvation. Salvation has come by the blood of the Lamb of Elohiym. The fruit of the Earth is from the nations of the Earth. They are the believers in Yahusha Hamashia.
3-4. And it shall come to pass, that he that is left in Zion, and he that remains in Jerusalem, shall be called holy, even every one that is written among the living in Jerusalem: When Ăḏōnāy shall have washed away the filth of the daughters of Zion, and shall have purged the blood of Jerusalem from the midst thereof by the spirit of judgment, and by the spirit of burning.
In the last verse the Branch of Yahuah is considered beautiful and glorious. The Jews think that Yahusha was a Samaritan with a devil in him. The Muslim know He was a prophet, but doesn't admit that he is the Branch of Yahuah.
Zion is the southwest side of Jerusalem. That was the original city. The Romans destroyed it in 70 CE. It looked as if it was a field when they got done with it.
If I was to translate verse 3 to English, it would be something like this. Let there be a remnant in Zion, a reserve in Jerusalem, speaking in Holiness, everything written living in Jerusalem.
Verse 4 is what was written about. It was the Apostles writing the New Testament, about Ăḏōnāy who is Yahusha Hamashia.
5. And Ăḏōnāy will create upon every dwelling place of mount Zion, and upon her assemblies, a cloud and smoke by day, and the shining of a flaming fire by night: for upon all the glory shall be a defence.
This verse is reminiscent of the Tribes of Israel leaving Egypt. They didn't have a Temple of stone. It was a tent. But the Holy Spirit was with them. So it is with the believers in Yahusha Hamashia. Their body is their Temple. The Holy Spirit goes with them. But this verse does hit at a Temple in Jerusalem.
6. And there shall be a tabernacle for a shadow in the day time from the heat, and for a place of refuge, and for a covert from storm and from rain.
This verse is future prophecy. The third Temple will not be this one. When Yahusha returns, then there will be a tabernacle set up for the people coming to see Yahusha Hamashia. It will be a place of dwelling so people can hear Yahusha in comfort.
